The word mindfulness is a frequent topic these days, whether on talk shows,
in magazine articles and even for adult coloring books. While it may seem
like a vague term, mindfulness is a simple concept with many benefits.
Essentially, mindfulness means being aware of your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and environment in the moment, rather than thinking about the past or worrying about the future.
An important aspect of mindfulness is to not assign judgments to what
you're feeling, but to acknowledge that thoughts and emotions
come and go.
Practicing mindfulness is credited with helping to reduce stress and
anxiety, cultivate compassion and build relationships. Studies reveal
physical benefits too, such as a stronger immune system, improved
memory and sharper cognitive skills.
Observation is the key to mindfulness.
Notice the sights, sounds
and smells around you and pay attention to sensations like the
warmth of the sunshine on your face or the flavor of your
morning coffee. By adding mindfulness moments to your
daily routine, you may soon feel a deeper connection to
So......I was one of the one's that woke up purging! Seemed
to go on for hours and by the time the height of the
eclipse hovered over Florida, well I was completely
worn out!!!
I had planned on doing a rollout for my new
business venture as a compassionate entrepreneur
with Trades of Hope, but with no energy to spare
I just couldn't move myself into that magical
place of manifestation. Well I did post
an ad on my facebook page that seemed to get
quickly lost among all the eclipse photo's!
Yesterday was about inner personal reflections
and not business ventures it seems! I stayed
conscious throughout the day, meditating at will.
Setting intentions that the eclipse bring energies
of awakening, awareness and breathe new life
into the masses. On a personal level my mantra
for the day was "I choose to be of service to others".
Clearing out the density and letting the light in! I did receive 2 crystals in the mail yesterday; a smoky quartz
from arkansas, and the tiniest piece of moldavite! I was happy to
share the eclipse energy with these two special stones.
..........something is definitely weird about stepping into 2017. I'm not feeling a thing - no excitement, no anticipation, no nothing.
There's no doubt we were pummeled with unbelievable energies during the month of December, we rode the waves...........but to what end? to where?
I'm not feeling it. Well, I am feeling very drained with little energy to spare. I certainly don't have the energy needed to jump into that New Year feeling...........what the hell is wrong?
This let down feels worse than 2012............what with all the new age hype.
I had to do much work in the area of disconnecting from old energy this past year and perhaps I'm simply worn out from it all. Well, I am and I'm sad too.
Feeling emptied out and awaiting the new...........and waiting, waiting and
waiting some more. I remember in 2009 when we were all set to step into the new and Karen Bishop reported that plans had been put on hold, that we needed to wait for more to step into the light. Now here we are in 2017 and still waiting. Something is not right with this plan.
I'm truly wondering if we're suppose to let the collective energy hold us down or if we're suppose to be the change we've been waiting for - individually.
Seems a lonely place to be.
Seriously, if I read one more "hold on" article, I think I'm going to explode!
.........and maybe that's the point, we're supposed to let go. Not hold on and see where that takes us!
There' a HOPI saying, don't hang onto the shore, go with the flow.
Don't fight it and struggle just let go into the flow.........ok, I'll try it.
