I had an instant awakening after completing
Reiki 1, well actually as I was doing the
21 day self reiki program. Every "clair" came
alive, and unfortunately my reiki master was
no where to be found and I had no idea what
to do. It was way overwhelming and after months
of struggling with a voice in my head - that would not
shut up, I shut down. I made the choice to turn off
until I could manage all these gifts. It took about
6 years before I was able to start opening up
again and then the gifts were different. Now I could
"see" as opposed to hearing, and I've been fine
with this.
The truth is that you may think you're ready when
in fact you're not. Just do your work and let it
unfold naturally.
